Dr. Lauren Standefer was born and raised in the Dallas Ft. Worth metroplex. She left Dallas briefly to attend Texas A&M University and receive her bachelor of science in Biomedical Science. Dr. Standefer is proud to be a fourth generation Aggie. After graduating, she returned to Dallas to study at Baylor College of Dentistry and get her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
She is very excited to be a part of the Josey Lane Dentistry team, which she considers another part of her family. Dr. Standefer loves dentistry and credits her decision to become a dentist a gift from God. She enjoys getting to know her patients and hearing their individual stories. Her goal as a oral health care provider is to keep patient’s mouths healthy and make their dental experience a uniquely pleasant one. She tries to improve smiles by giving smiles.:)
In her free time, Dr. Standefer enjoys spending time with her loving family and friends. Her interests include: working out and living healthy, snow and water skiing, tennis, being at the lake, reading and her two adorable kitty cats, Finley and Chancie. She spends lots of time in continuing her education and is working towards her Fellowship in General Dentistry.
